We’re still hard at work gathering all the information needed to build a world based on the Old West. What started out as a little information gathering project turned out to be very large scaled. We knew from the start that we want to have some content in the game. Some depth and some facts. We want this game to be an enjoyable place for everyone to gather and spend time in, but at the same time we want our players to gain something from their time with us, other than pure enjoyment. Information, or knowledge, is a strong tool that we can give our players, one which they can even unknowingly get from their time spent in the WWWest-Online world.

So as I said, we noticed we have so much work ahead of us just on the issue of information gathering, that we decided it is time to get some help. We started searching for people that are gurus when it comes to searching for information and validating the findings. We also hoped to find an information specialist who is also a fan of both computer games and history. We thought we were aiming too high, but luckily for us we were mistaken. Life has a funny way of working things out and sometimes knowing the right people helps a lot.

We found a very wonderful woman that goes by the name of Stego. She will soon come here herself to tell you a bit about herself, but in the meantime we wished to say a couple of words based on our impression with her so far. Stego has a way of magically getting the information needed and finding the proof that this information is valid and correct. We are sure she will run into difficulties validating some of the information, but we are also sure she will manage to overcome whatever happens. Stego is now building us an information center which we will use later on to retrieve the information and create wonderful stories and quests. At the same time she is also polpulating this information center with everything she finds. She has some hard work but she makes it look like peanuts.
