A short trip back to the roots: Before the tire there was the wheel. The invention of the wheel is one of man’s greatest achievements, and is attributed to ancient Mesopotamia, in the 5th Millennium BC.

One Square at a Time

One of the projects on which I’m currently working is creating a timeline. The purpose of this timeline is to gather and organize historical information about the era. It includes all kind of events: wars, battles, inventions, publications, developments and more.

Not all the events that the timeline includes so far were known to me, and some of them actually surprised me quite a bit. While I was searching I surprised to find out that Read the rest of this entry »

Clothing in the Wild West – Jeans

When you search for information you might find out information that you didn’t know. That’s one of the parts that I love :) . Another love of mine is history. Ever since I can remember myself I was interested in history. Maybe because it’s in my genes. My father Loves history and because of that our house looks like a library. We’ve got so many books laying around that we don’t know where to put them, Heck, even our bedroom closets are full of them…

New girl on the block

We’re still hard at work gathering all the information needed to build a world based on the Old West. What started out as a little information gathering project turned out to be very large scaled. We knew from the start that we want to have some content in the game. Some depth and some facts. We want this game to be an enjoyable place for everyone to gather and spend time in, but at the same time we want our players to gain something from their time with us, other than pure enjoyment. Information, or knowledge, is a strong tool that we can give our players, one which they can even unknowingly get from their time spent in the WWWest-Online world. Read the rest of this entry »
